Mainly, the medical model of traditional therapy encourages a “seek and destroy” method to deal with problems like anxiety and depression.
 
Of course, when you suffer, you want relief. In the past two decades of providing therapy, I've learned that I can help people who are suffering to feel better and live with less pain.
 
However, I've also experienced that people can lead fuller, more satisfying lives when they move beyond simply reducing their pain.
 
You are much more than your pain…more than a targeted problem to fix. After initial difficulties resolve, the most exciting work happens.
 
But sadly, with our medical “fix it” model, many people never get to experience the best part.

After nearly 20 years as a Marriage & Family Therapist...

helping people who suffer from insecurity, doubt, impossible communication patterns and overwhelming stress, I decided that meeting once a week in the office is great, but there had to be a better way.

People need guidance to discover what makes them tick. And honestly, taking one hour a week or so to sit in my office is not the most efficient plan to get you feeling your best

The experience of worry, insecurity and hidden suffering is personal to me. In fact, I lived with chronic worry, anxiety and some depression throughout my life. (Although few would have known it…can you relate?)

After many years of study, I realized that I do not have to suffer – and neither do you. 

I decided to write a manual of sorts –
